1. Choose a Clean Username
Your username should be simple, searchable, and memorable. Avoid underscores and numbers where possible (e.g., sameer.social is better than sameer_786_official).
2. Switch to Professional Mode
Go to Settings > Account > Switch to Professional Account. This unlocks essential analytics and creator tools.
3. SEO Your Bio
- Line 1: Your unique value prop.
- Line 2: Social proof or credential.
- Line 3: Clear Call to Action (CTA).
Part 2: The Pre-Posting Strategy
Before you upload your first reel, you must prime the algorithm to understand your niche.
Warm Up the Algorithm
- Follow 10-12 top creators in your exact niche.
- Engage deeply in their comment sections with meaningful contributions (not just emojis).
- When people reply to you, engage back. This builds "Profile Visit" signals.
Once Instagram sees your profile attracting visits from a specific audience, your first Reel will be pushed directly to them.
